Frank Roessler: Founder of Ashcroft Capital

Ashcroft Capital is a national multifamily investment firm focusing on major metropolitan statistical areas which demonstrate consistent rent growth, low vacancy and a growing real GDP. The firm seeks to add value to each property by tightening operational inefficiencies and completing moderate to extensive renovations. Ashcroft Capital was founded by Frank Roessler in 2014.

Previous to forming Ashcroft Capital, Frank Roessler ran asset management at M&A Real Estate Partners. While in this role he oversaw the expense auditing, staff management, financial reporting, budgeting, and supervision the firms’ portfolio which consisted of properties located in several different MSA’s. In addition to this, Frank ran project management over all capital expenditure programs including the full renovation of several apartment communities. The firms’ portfolio consisted of over 20 assets each with a unit count over 200 and a total value in excess of $450M.

Frank also worked on the acquisition side of the company for the first 3 years of his tenure at M&A. During that time, he underwrote and oversaw the due diligence process of each apartment that was purchased. This experience taught him a grounded and conservative approach the valuation of institutional multifamily assets; an approach that Ashcroft Capital uses to this day.
